Extinguisher

Fire’s out, blown silent by  a cold wind of indifference and snuffed out by the weight of those promises of tomorrow that never came to fruition. Wordless farewells that  steam cold from the leftover ashes, painting the sort of departure that stains a soul and kills the flames from the top to the bottom.
